Coach Expectations



Here are expectations we hold for our coaches:

 

  • Clear and positive communications with players and family.

  • Maintain a safe and positive environment for players.

  • Teach players the fundamentals of softball.

  • Build a 'love of the game' for our students.

  • Create an environment where students are always supported and never demeaned.​

If you have a concern with the team, please address it.  Here is a general guideline on how to do so:

​

  • If it is appropriate, and your player is comfortable in doing so, have your player share the concern with one of our coaches. We should encourage our players to advocate for themselves and others.

  • If not, please speak with Coach J (Johnston) about your concern.  

  • If speaking with Coach J is not appropriate, or does not get the result you seek, then contact the Activities Director, Mr. Jarred Johnston.

We believe that the BEST way to communicate concerns is face-to-face, and almost never by text. We will make the time to address your issues.  ​​​​
