Captains



Each team will have two captains.  Teammates will vote for their Captains using two methods: direct choice, and secret essay.  Those who are chosen to be Captain, can expect the following:

  • Coaches will invite Captains to collaborate with them on some choices (where we stop to eat, games to play, etc.)

  • Captains should share input with their coaches regarding their team.

  • Captains are required to attend all games, even those they will not play in. (Excuses may be approved.). They will be helping coaches with scoring, running errands, etc.

Captains are a great way for players to have more input in team activities.  They help coaches get a feel for their team, they develop leadership skills, responsibility, and work ethic.  We will expect our Captains to work hard and to use the position to benefit the team.
