Red, White and Black Teams

This year we are changing our approach to how we divide our players.  We will have three teams:  Red, White and Black.  The Red team will be for players who are more driven by softball, and want more rigorous training and stronger competition.  The White and Black teams will be for players who prefer a more casual, less stressful softball experience.

Red team players can expect more practices, more games and to be held to a higher athletic standard.  Practice attendance for the Red Team will be more stringent.

The White and Black teams will be divided evenly by talent.  Players who want to develop at a specific position may have more of an opportunity on the White/Black team.

By doing it this way, we hope to better accommodate player desires, and to remove some coaching assessment that may not always be accurate.  We will have a full week of practice before we divide into teams.

Coaches reserve the right to pull players between teams when we are short players or short position skills (ie pitchers/catchers), with that parent's approval.

Teams will be differentiated by the color socks they wear.
